Should we buy optimus G?

LG has entered the track top high end smartphones race with the LG Optimus G. G has got all of the best hardware qualification that any phone presently own. In fact, many bloggers and reviewers who once gave negative review to this phone before its announcement were amazed to see its performance. The snapdragon processor provides super fast performance with the quad core centered with 1.5 ghz. Besides of its hardware qualification, it has got an amazing software amusement too. It has optimus ui 3.0 layered to android ICS. Android ICS is the best mobile platform and OPtimus ui is the best overlayering for android (optimus ui 3.0 beats the S3's touchwiz ui). So no need of further review about the software since the phone comes with best over laying ui to the best platform.

But, here we get a question, do LG optimus G has any drawbacks? In one way we can say NO. But deeply, there is. In fact, this drawback is not of the OPTIMUS G. It is the drawbacks given by previous LG's high end smartphones like 2x. These previous phones made negative reviews because of the lack of the update to the android it runs. Thus, it makes a question to optimus G, "will optimus G get JB update?" So, here is the answer. Previous phones, for e.g. optimus 2x, got no update and we shouldn't blame LG. The blame should go to Nvidia. It is the Nvidia who doesnt provide driver softwares of ICS and thus LG couldnt make an update. But, in the G's case, it runs Snapdragon s4 quadcore processor. The company who made this processor, qualcomm, owns most of the lower end phone's processor (p500, galaxy ace). And this company is willingly ready to provide the driver software even if the manufacture doesn't make an update. They provide driver softwares to cyanogenmod and others. That is why we can find when a newer android is released the first update goes to lower end smartphones by custom ROMS. In other words, qualcomm provides quicker drivers and thus for the optimus G, an update is sure and very soon.
